POEVOI

"POEVOI" combines 'poem' and 'voice' to create
an immersive experience for the hearing
impaired, inspired by the poem '47 Things
I Want to Remember Before Blindness' by
Taiwanese poet Xia Yu. This project transforms
important voices collected through interviews
into verses, creating an archive accessible
through touch. Sounds from the verses are
converted into vibrations, enabling participants
to 'feel' these sounds via 'sound words' on a wall,
allowing deaf individuals to experience and
collect sounds as memories and stories.
