“Lies” is the theme of the Now-Showing Exhibition in 2018 organized by UALCSSA. Now-showing Exhibition brings the hottest and the most controversial topic to all the design students to think about every year. The exhibition also aims to provide a good opportunity for all design students to communicate and present their own works.

Self-media and mainstream media are competing to occupy the market in this era. And we are forced to receive a lot of information every day. It is difficult to deal with such a big amount of information mingled with “Lies” and "truth". People cannot easily judge what the truth is anymore. However, the world is never either black or white and truth sometimes has the same impact as lies. So the exhibition asked people to re-examine the definition of “Lies”.
